See thats my problem, I can't vote for anyone that thinks killing innocent babies is OK. And I can't vote for McCain because I think he is too close to Bush who I think has really screwed things up over the last several years.
I have defended Obama against some wrong statements and I would defended McCain against the same wrong statements.

I have said it before, It just blows my mind that with all the truely Great People we have in this country we have come down to Obama v's McCain.

I really hate the choices we have to pick from, turd A or turd B. It's a lose, lose situation. My only hope is McCain picks a good VP to reign him in if at all possible. There's been talk about him picking the Ex CEO of Hewlit Packard. Some woman that did amazing things to turn that company around.

...and this is your candidate?

The point is you should stand behind your candidate.....WAY behind!

I'll go with you Dirt. It's a sad day in the USA when we can't come up with better candidates than these three.

LOL Fossil! Very appropriate terminology.

I'm a registered independent which let's me vote either party depending upon who lies the least! But what I'm attempting to get across to y'all is that pick whoever you want but understand that they will coop themselves to reach their goals. The will lie, they will flip flop, they will smile to the camera then tell someone off camera to go F themselves. Here's another McCain example, but I can find ones for ANY candidate that has ever run.
In this article McCain talks out of both sides of his mouth BECAUSE HE'S FUND RAISING! FUND=MONEY!
MONEY=POWER!

Just a week ago, John McCain decried the decision to legalize gay marriage in California. Today you can catch him on TV chatting with Ellen DeGeneres, America's foremost lesbian entertainer who within hours of the landmark ruling announced on air that she would marry her partner.

"I wish her every happiness," McCain said Wednesday, just before the show's taping for airing today. As McCain comes to the Bay Area today for fundraising and discussion of global competitiveness at a Union City lighting manufacturer, Finelite, his strategy on gay marriage underscores the balancing act he faces as he revs up his general election campaign."

At this point; Obama

I was a McCain guy until I heard him speak more. The more I hear, the more he feels like a Washington insider through and through. I'm tired of old white men (which I am btw) running the country, I'd like to see a young person give it a try.

Hillary; no way! She's as much a Washington insider as McCain! Although I'd like to see, in my lifetime, a woman president.

Ron Paul; what a joke. No Money, no chance!
Jessie Ventura; no money, no chance

If big money backs you, you have a chance, but then you are beholding to the big money now, aren't you?

Answer me this, please, because I haven't the foggiest: The president gave us tax breaks during his administration to improve the economy, so why are we so broke? Gas skyrocketing, food skyrocketing, housing dead....

Gas?

Because we don't control the supply, OPEC does.
Why? Because democrats have blocked every effort by the American oil companies to drill domestically.
The last refinery was built 30 years ago, there are plenty of places to build them but they might upset the ecosystem of the darter snail or some other such nonsense.

Food?

Partly because it take fuel to transport food unless your walmart is next to a farm. The other is farmers are growing more ethonol grade corn instead of other types of crops because congress mandated that ethonol be used when the price of oil exceeded a certain amount thanks to
Greenies http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=21699

Tax breaks?
We were overly taxed in the first place and at the end of the Clinton administration the economy was in a down turn partly due to the internet bubble bursting, then 9/11 certainly didn't help matters shortly after Bush took office.. The tax cuts did cause an increase in the treasury but Bushy went on a spending spree and didn't pay the bills as Aged rightly pointed out.

Housing market in a slump?

Do some research on it and you'll find that less than 1% of houses are actually in foreclosure and the that's mainly because people were stupid and didn't get a fixed interest loan.

I've made up my mind.....

Bob Barr for President! If he only had a chance.

While I dont agree with this mans methodology at all, this video speaks volumes to the truth of our situation in America and the world. He speaks the absolute truth in this instance.
