I know Petri likes to run around in spandex suits and wear his underwear on the outside of his tights, so what have you heard about this game?

Looks like is has more depth than CoH and the powers look a little more polished as well.
So give us the Skinny on this because I know you're feeling the tug of this MMO.

I can say this: it is closer to Champions, the Pen and Paper game, than City of Heroes is.

So Petri, how is this game? Looks like it comes out in June and it looks pretty interesting. Signing up for the beta preview to see myself.

To be honest: it is good but I have been busy beta testing Issue 14 for City of Heroes. The pacing and action are different from CoH but the story line, as implied in the non-beta 'about game' areas is a reflection of City of Heroes.
They have an extended play test on Friday nights, so I will be playing tonight (after three weeks of not playing).

Anyone else get into the Champions online beta? I applied ages ago and still nothing. Game comes out Mid July and hope to get to see it soon.

I believe Myopic is also in the Beta. I have not tested it as of late as there is an annoying bug involving the Windows task bar placement offsetting the mouse co-ordinates in game.

I changed motherboards, increased RAM, and loaded Vista 64 (from Vista 32). I haven't gotten everything installed back again. I suppose I'll have to get this going again this weekend.
