Hope they fix the match making system and come up with something for dropping players. Not even going to go into examples of the match making issues, I will just say that half the games are high lvl vs low lvl and it's over before it starts.

Big issue I saw yesterday was players dropping. One player would drop, then it would get super one sided and it ruined the entire game. People were actually asking the other team to just go AFK so they could kill them faster and get the round points. Of 5 games yesterday, 1 was good, 3 had droppers, and one was all high lvl 30's vs sub 20's and it was over in 5 mins. I think they need to have a system that puts an AI (computer) controlled player in place of dropped players. Scale it to ability (i.e. lower level games get easy or normal AI, high lvl get expert)? The same could be used to make matchmaking better. If the game is 3v3 or 4v4, then only match players in the same ballpark lvls (i.e. 20's with 20's), then use AI to fill in any missing spots.

One reason, I don't play online. Unless a bunch of omo/bco get this game so we can play against each other, doubt I'll be picking this one up until it goes on sale (still like to play the sp).

The good news is the game will be free to everyone. Instead they have chosen to use a micro payment system for those that want to buy unit upgrades. This being said, buying upgrades won't be needed to win and will be granted by Experience Points(XP). As far as playing online against better players, I view this as a good thing. Watching how the good players move and manage their units helps me to get better. I don't mind taking my lumps to learn something. In the original version of Company of Heroes you could record the games and watch them back to see your mistakes and your opponents strategies. I think that will be added to this as well. You could also go to a site www.gamereplays.org/companyofheroes/ and watch recorded games of others. The bottom line is that this is a very fun game that is easy to learn the basics but takes time to master. To me, I enjoy the journey and laughter associated when playing with friends win or lose. In the first COH game my friend and I were like 0-60 but each game we got better and better until finally we won like 20 in a row. In RTS games you have to be willing to laugh at the mistakes you make and revel in the tiny victories while working your way up the learning curve.

Typing on an iPhone is a pain!!!! Lol

Yeah, fun for sure and I don't mind loosing as long as it's a close game and not too lop sided.
